Once again - playing catch up.  Here are some highlights from the SDCl 1st Anniversary Party held Jan. 28, 2019.   There are some normal story time photos mixed in (dates not sure of).  The first part of these photos were from our special kids event with the Bookmark Fairy!

In October, the Anime Club, which meets here at the Soddy-Daisy held their first-ever costume contest for the Halloween season. Chattoiine made a guest appearance to judge the costume contest.

​If you love anime, you'll fit right in with this club. Meetings are monthly.

The Feb, 2020 LEGO event was a free for all event. The kids played with 25,000 LEGOS and created some works they were very proud of.  Here are some highlights.

Every month, the Soddy-Daisy Community Library hosts a Pajama Party for our smaller patrons. The month of February of 2020 was aptly named "The Grossest PJ Party Ever."
This PJ party featured books and crafts and gross facts.
Special thank you going out to author Angela Halgrimson for flying from Madison, WI to read to our children. And for donating a few copies of her books.

Our 2019 Sweet Swap had 13 participants and 12 delicious dishes.  Thank you to all that came and shared your stories, your memories and especially your wonderful Christmas Memories!

The June 2019 SDCL LEGO dump is underway!

So far we have 32 people and counting... more are coming in as we speak. With over 22,000 LEGOS to build with and create incredible things, your imagination is the never limited!

Photographer and water-colorists, Victoria Mason, has volunteered her time and talents to teach a "sold out" workshop on the basics of water-coloring painting.
